In the grand finale of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2024, Puneri Paltan became the seventh team in the history of the league to be crowned champions. They beat Haryana Steelers 28-25 to lift the PKL trophy at the GMC Balayogi Sports Complex, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, today.

Paltan also joined U Mumba and Dabang Delhi as two teams that went on to win the very next season of the PKL after being defeated in the final of the previous season. Paltan had lost to Jaipur Pinka Panthers in the 2022-23 final.

Pankaj Mohite was the biggest star for the Pune side as he collected nine raid points. On the other hand, Haryana was just not able to get ahead of the Pune side at any point in the game. Their best player was Shivam Patare, who got six points.
